*The HR Portal is in partnership with HRAnywhere, with specialised guides also from WorkHaven – providing a comprehensive platform to streamline human resources, occupational health and safety, and workers compensation information. Includes templates, awards guides, policies, and more.
Carbon Warrior is FTMA’s environmental arm that aims to create a greener future by tackling the built environment’s impact on climate change.
FTMA Members have the exclusive opportunity to be a Carbon Warrior program partner and be recognised as Carbon Warriors. This program partnership entitles members to use the Carbon Warrior logos in line with the licensing agreement. Help to promote the benefits of timber, and carbon storage!
FTMA has created a wide range of Industrial Relations & WHS Fact Sheets for members to be used as a quick guide.
FTMA sought legal advice through AB Phillips Credit Department to create a Commercial Credit Application, Terms of Trade, Guarantee & Indemnity form for members which they can download from the members portal and personalise to the business branding.
FTMA has committed much needed funding towards the development of the FTMA Industry Based Traineeships in Timber Systems Design.
Part of this process was to begin by changing the titles - 'estimators' and 'detailers' are now names of the past. Timber Systems Designing brings recognition to the innovation of the roles.
The Introduction to Timber Systems Designing online course will be commencing in early 2026.
FTMA represents the Australian Frame and Truss Sector on the Australian Standards committees and a range of skills and Worksafe, Training and Industry Development committees meaning that manufacturers have a strong voice where it matters.
Representation by FTMA ensures our industry messaging is a uniformed force, with the interests of manufacturers at the forefront of all decision making.
FTMA members can advertise their machinery for free, as a member benefit. Machinery For Sale gets promoted in each FTMA Newsletter, via emails to hundreds of subscribers across Australia, via FTMA social media, and members will receive a new item alert through the members app.
