A Stronger Industry, Together: Why FTMA Supporting Partners Matter
27th November 2025
By FTMA News
As the Australian timber frame and truss sector continues to evolve, one thing remains constant: the strength of our industry depends on the strength of our relationships. At FTMA Australia, our Partners play a vital role in helping us advance the interests of manufacturers, lift standards across the sector, and champion a future-focused, resilient industry.
With the 2026 FTMA National Conference and Trade Expo approaching, we’re proud to open two rare Supporting Partner opportunities—positions that carry not only visibility, but real impact.
Built on Values, Backed by Commitment
FTMA’s partnership program is grounded in our core values: integrity, collaboration, and unwavering support for the manufacturers who form the backbone of our industry. We partner with companies that share these values—organisations committed to strengthening manufacturers' businesses, driving innovation, and supporting the sustainability of our sector.
In 2024, FTMA made the deliberate decision to cap our partnership program at 3 Principal, 9 Strategic and 18 Supporting Partners, ensuring each partner receives meaningful engagement and genuine value. At that time, all positions were full, and even beyond that, several companies expressed interest in joining our partnership family.
When two Supporting Partners were unable to continue early in 2025 due to market pressures, the FTMA Board made a conscious choice. Rather than filling those spots immediately, we held them vacant for the remainder of the year. During challenging market conditions, our priority was to stand beside those who had stood by us—our loyal partners who continued their support through both prosperous and difficult times.
This decision reflects who we are as an association: we value commitment, we value relationships, and we reciprocate it.
Why Become a Supporting Partner?
The benefits extend far beyond branding opportunities. FTMA Supporting Partners are woven into the fabric of our association, receiving:
• Sponsorship recognition at the FTMA National Conference
With the 2026 event shaping up to be the largest yet, Supporting Partners will be recognised as official conference sponsors, and will have the option of displaying at the expo.
• Exclusive access to FTMA events and networking
Opportunities to engage directly with frame and truss manufacturers, decision-makers, and innovators across the sector.
• Editorial features in FTMA News Online
A platform to share expertise, product developments, and thought leadership with thousands of industry stakeholders.
• Visibility across all FTMA platforms and industry functions
Ensuring your brand is present wherever our members are.
But more importantly, Supporting Partners become part of a community. FTMA fosters relationships built on trust, open communication, and shared goals. We work closely with our partners, champion their contributions, involve them in national conversations, and celebrate the value they bring to our sector.
A Partnership That Makes a Difference
With renewed energy leading into 2026 and a growing number of businesses expressing interest, FTMA is excited to welcome two new Supporting Partners who align with our values and vision.
After EOIs close on Friday, 5 December, the FTMA Board will carefully consider each expression of interest, selecting the partners who not only strengthen our association but who are committed to supporting our members and the broader timber frame and truss community.
These opportunities don’t come around often—and they matter. Together with our partners, FTMA continues to advance, advocate, and amplify the collective strength of our industry.
If your business is passionate about the future of timber framing and truss manufacturing, and ready to stand with manufacturers as we move into an exciting new chapter, we welcome your Expression of Interest.
Please send an email to kersten@ftma.com.au, by Friday 5 December, to let me know, and we will be in touch.
