Safety Alert - Working Safely From Heights

19th March 2026
By FTMA News
FTMA is issuing a safety alert as a support to the industry to increase safety standards, and commitments form members.

FTMA Australia is committed to supporting our members in maintaining the highest safety standards across the timber manufacturing industry.

In the event of a serious incident where an enforceable undertaking may be required, we recognise the importance of guidance, transparency, and shared learning. FTMA is here to assist members through this process, providing support and resources to help navigate compliance requirements while strengthening workplace safety outcomes.

** Please note** Any FTMA member facing enforceable undertakings must reach out at the beginning of the process. If FTMA is to be involved in promoting any material as a consequence of an enforceable undertaking, FTMA must be involved and consulted from the start, to make sure materials meet our industry standards.

By working together, we can drive continuous improvement and uphold a safer, more resilient industry for all.
