AAA Advanced Trusses Wins 2026 FTMA Jackson Kidd Wellbeing Award

AAA Advanced Trusses has once again been recognised for its outstanding commitment to employee wellbeing, taking home the 2026 FTMA Jackson Kidd Wellbeing Award for the second time in a row.
The award, established in memory of Jackson Kidd, honours businesses within the frame and truss industry that place genuine care for their people at the centre of their workplace culture. 

Jackson sadly passed away in 2022 following struggles with mental health. He worked alongside his family at Kidd Truss and was like so many young people working within the industry; hardworking, down-to-earth and part of a close-knit family business. In his memory, the award recognises businesses that go above and beyond to ensure the mental health and wellbeing of their employees remains a genuine priority, fostering supportive workplaces where people feel valued, connected and cared for.

After becoming the inaugural recipient of the award in 2024, AAA Advanced Trusses has continued to build on its already impressive wellbeing initiatives, further strengthening its reputation as a leader in workplace culture across the industry.

Their people-first approach is embedded throughout every aspect of the business. From annual wellness reviews and confidential Employee Assistance Program support to flexible work arrangements and regular staff feedback initiatives, the company continues to prioritise both the physical and mental wellbeing of its team.

In 2026, AAA Advanced Trusses expanded its commitment even further with the introduction of a dedicated Wellness Room, a purpose-built space designed to help employees relax, recharge and connect with one another throughout the workday.
Featuring table tennis, darts, video games and board games, the space has quickly become a valued part of the workplace, encouraging social interaction and providing staff with an opportunity to reset and unwind.

Beyond formal wellbeing programs, the business has created a culture built on inclusion, connection and appreciation. Regular cook-ups, games days, raffles, fundraising activities and recognition awards all contribute to an environment where employees feel genuinely valued and supported.

Importantly, their commitment to wellbeing has continued to evolve rather than standing still since first receiving the award. Their ongoing investment in people demonstrates that employee wellbeing is not viewed as a one-off initiative, but as a long-term priority and core part of the company’s culture.
As always, it was wonderful to have Jackson Kidd’s parents, Dean and Tammy Kidd, on hand to announce the winner and present the award in honour of Jackson’s legacy.

Unfortunately, Andrew and Ryan from AAA Advanced Trusses were unable to attend the evening in person, however they sent through a heartfelt video acceptance speech expressing their appreciation to the industry and to the Kidd family for their continued support and recognition.
